2006-11-20 - I saw them play in Athens back in the mid-70's. Wow, this brings back memories. How can I get lyrics to their great songs?

2006-11-19 - I appreciate Mr. Greenwood's offer of reimbursement and especially the explanation of why the show abruptly ended. I guess I was mostly upset from the fact that I had been praticing my "Simba, Watusi and Black Maumaus" all week long and didn't get to use them. I look forward to the next show, hopefully anywhere but Club 29. Maybe a April Fool's show sans makeup.

2006-11-03 - I had a fabulous time at the 3rd annual Halloween orgy despite technical problems. I say it's time to blow the joint and move this party foward. Smith's Olde Bar is an excellent choice. Saturday before Halloween is the best date. If you're not going to wear makeup anymore I want Thermos' green paint.

2006-10-31 - People need to realize that this is a one shot a year deal. One out of five shows(including the farm gig) had some technical problems that cost some time. Mr. Greenwood and company were gracious enough to give the other artists a chance to do their thing. The promos advertised three bands and guests, this is what we paid for. I appreciate the fact that we get to see this group of incredibly talented and unique musicians together again after 30 yrs. They put an unbelievable amount of effort onto making a great show. Sometimes things happen beyond their control, that's part of performing. If people would get into the spirit of Halloween night, get into costume and enjoy the party, I don't think a glitch in the machine would be as big a deal. I think the Saturday before Halloween is the best date and makeup doesn't matter as long as Thermos strips.

2006-10-31 - I must admit this past Saturday was a disappointment for all of us. If you leave us a means of contact, we will imburse funds to those who feel ripped off. Many mistakes were made. Some we could help, some we could not. The opening act started late. The sound system and crew sucked. I panicked when I realized it was nearly 1 AM and there was another act to go on (forgetting about the time change, too. My bad.)We had to rent the club for the night and we were also responsible for paying the support acts. That accounts for the $20 admission. Making money has never been the primary goal of this thing. With that in mind, to focus strictly on music from the thermosphere, in a venue that has reliable sound and staff should be the goal. 1lessjackson has very legitimate gripes and we will do all we can to make amends. There is much discussion among the band members as to how to try this again. We are leaning towards trying to do this at Smith's Olde Bar and just do two shows of Thermoid music. We could use feedback/suggestions from those who attended this last event. Is the Saturday before Halloween the best date? Does it matter to you whether the band is in makeup or not? Give us some constructive feedback. I think we are all in agreement that this past event did not live up to the promise of past orgies. Thermos

2006-10-30 - Ask me, that was the best twenty dollar I ever spent. Sides the fact that that Thermos Greenwood fella held his Little Jr. for the first time, now I'm gonna be famous and me and Little Jr. are gonna be rich cause Thermos Greenwood is rich and famous and we're gonna get all his stuff. Now if I can find Uncle Daddy that Jerry Springer fella said we could all be on the TV. Plus I got out of the tool shed long enough to dance and do other stuff too.

2006-10-30 - The 2006 Halloween Orgy Trick was on those who paid $20 to see the Diamond Lil' Marching Band with a handful of TGCP songs thrown in on the side. A far cry from the last two Halloween shows. Much disappointment. 1lessjackson

2006-10-23 - The magic's in the dancing, lost in the music, becoming the music, being the music. You colored people afforded me a freedom of dance that has been my joy to share with more than one uptight white butt and countless women, wall dancing in a corner dying to dance out in the middle of the floor. We lose ourselves in dance. Who could be embarassed with such a rainbow of holy fools singing us forward? Hope to be able to stay awake late enough to make this year's party
