HEY THERMOS, THAT IS REALLY SICK TO SUGGEST THAT WE MIX CHRISTMAS AND HALLOWEEN. In order to cope with this crisis I will use wise knowledge that I learned when I was a tiny baby. (You have to be adaptable; you have to change for heaven's sake, because if a tree don't bend, you know it's going to have to break.) I'll see ya at your Halloween/Christmas orgy. And I'll wear a costume!!!!!!!

As far as I'm concerned Halloween is falling on Dec. 5th this year. I haven't missed a Halloween in 5 yrs and I'm not starting now. What's in a date? This is still a costume party for those with the cahoonas to join me, I know my sister will be there. For everyone else get your Santa hats and elf shoes and have fun.

Webmaster comments   We encourage all attending to dress up in their most festive attire. Half of the fun for me has been to see all the creativity run amuck that the audience exudes. THERMOS

2007-10-28 - Best Orgy Ever. Thanks to the band for all of their hard work for once again bringing a little happiness into the hearts of Atlanta's depraved souls

2007-10-14 - Hey Y'all,

Am unable to get hold of anybody at club 29 to confirm details of Halloween Orgy. Their last calendar events listed are for last February. With the wierd wah that that place exists in, just wanted to confirm that this event is on as scheduled.

Also, above and beyond the elements that compromised last year's orgy, was, in my opinion the poor turnout (not to mention the general lack of costuming spirit for the Orgy) for what should be one of the highlights of the year for a certain generation of Atlantans. I happened to be listening to the Georgia Music Show on WRAS the night before the Orgy last year, and called in to tell the DJ about Thermos and the event, in the hope that she would publicize it on the show, as it rightfully should be. I think that the younger listeners of today should have the opportunity to find out about Atlanta's oldest and coolest still performing band, and that these annual Thermos shows should be given the cultural respect they deserve. So I urge you to spend a little of all the energy you expend puttig this thing on, publicizing the event and playing up the importance of it for Atlanta's anemic music culture.

That's my two cents. Cant' tell you guys how much we appreciate your efforts maintaining these performances year after year. Your comments after last years problems were scary, so we are thrilled that things are (hopefully) back on -- Club 29 and all.

Luv you guys.
